When I first started teaching AP Computer Science A (AP CS A), I knew it would change lives. I just didn’t realize how quickly.
Over the past 5 years, every single student I have trained for the AP CS A exam has earned a perfect score of 5.
But the success goes beyond the exam. I have watched students who were once hesitant about coding grow into confident problem-solvers and critical thinkers. Some go on to win programming contests. Others build impressive real-world projects. Many discover a new passion.
What Is AP Computer Science A?
AP CS A is not just about learning Java syntax. It is about learning how to think. Students dive into algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming in a way that prepares them for university-level computer science and beyond.
It is a launchpad.
For high schoolers aiming for competitive colleges.
For curious minds who want to build apps or games.
For anyone looking to get ahead in one of the most in-demand fields today.
Who Can Take This Course?
Students from grade 8 to 12 are welcome. Whether you are in middle school or already in high school, this course can fit your learning journey.
You do not need any programming experience to start. We begin with the fundamentals and build from there. If you already have experience, you will still find plenty of value. From the very first sessions, we explore concepts and features of Java that go beyond basic programming knowledge.
What Do I Need to Prepare?
You do not need any extra resources. Everything will be provided to you, including structured notes, assignments, practice questions, mock exams, and projects.
Is the AP CS A Exam Changing?
Yes. The AP CS A 2026 exam will be different from the 2025 version. The layout will change, and there will be updates to the content as well. Follow our future posts to stay updated on what is new and how to best prepare.
Why Take It With Me?
I bring over 15 years of teaching experience, a master’s degree in AI and robotics, and a background in coaching Olympiad-level students. But more importantly, I know how to make students love learning.
Whether your child is brand new to coding or already experienced, this course meets them where they are and helps them grow.
Classes are structured, but fun. Challenging, but supportive. Designed to bring out each student’s best.
